Creativity, Sensitivity Make A Person Relevant In Age Of Machines & AI: Rajnath

New Delhi, Jan 20: According to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in the current era of computers and artificial intelligence, a person's employability would be determined by their inventiveness, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and sensitivity. Speaking to the cadets on Saturday during his visit to the Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantt, the Minister of Defence expressed gratitude to the NCC for providing the cadets with these skills and making sure they are developed holistically to be future leaders of the country.According to an official statement, Rajnath shared his thoughts on the emergence of artificial intelligence in the current technologically advanced world and predicted that as time goes on and improvements continue, people would start concentrating more on pursuing careers in fields where machines are unable to perform required duties. He emphasised, however, that although machines could carry out mental and physical duties, they are not capable of creativity, consciousness, or social development like humans. He made the argument that the NCC is essential in this situation.The Minister stated, "The NCC is guaranteeing the overall growth of cadets via its numerous projects and programmes by strengthening their social skills, imparting a sense of patriotism and national pride, and building their physical, mental, and emotional strength. It is crucial that the cadets absorb these traits in addition to their academics. This will enable them to fully contribute to the nation's advancement. Singh awarded the NCC cadets Commendation Cards and the Raksha Mantri Padak on this special occasion in recognition of their outstanding work and commitment to duty.Senior Under Officer Makkatira Kalpana Kuttappa of the Karnataka & Goa Directorate and Junior Under Officer Dechen Chuskit of the Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Directorate received the Raksha Mantri Padaks this year. Under Officer Amar Morang of the North Eastern Region Directorate and Senior Under Officer Jyotirmaya Singh Chauhan of the Uttar Pradesh Directorate received their Raksha Mantri Commendation Cards. The Raksha Mantri had earlier inspected an outstanding "Guard of Honour" that the NCC cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force had presented. On this occasion, prominent NCC and Ministry of Defence officials were in attendance, including DG NCC Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh. Whenever I have reviewed Naxal operations in these areas, I have heard of your bravery," Shah remarked. "In Jammu and Kashmir, the SSB has laid down their lives while fighting together with the CRPF, BSF, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Indian Army against terrorists," the Union Home Minister stated, discussing the SSB's role in eradicating terrorism in the region. "Over the past nine years, Prime Minister Modi has implemented various measures to ensure the well-being of all CAPFs, including the CRPF and other border-deployed organisations like the SSB," stated Shah. UDHAMPUR: Bharat Sinh Solanki, a senior AICC official and the party's liaison for J&K affairs, claimed on Friday that the BJP was avoiding local and assembly elections out of concern that it would lose, "thus depriving people of J&K of basic democratic rights". He claimed that the BJP should be held accountable for the injustices done to the people of J&K, since they had stolen their jobs, land, and statehood. Speaking alongside a group of local leaders to party workers in Udhampur, Solanki declared, "After losing the Kargil hill council polls, the BJP called off all elections, from local councils to panchayats. Even though the Supreme Court ordered that the long-overdue Assembly elections be held before the end of September this year, no one knows when they will take place."In a scathing attack, Solanki accused the saffron party of "bringing unprecedented price rise of all commodities like petrol, diesel, LPG and other items". Solanki urged the populace to rise up against the BJP government's purportedly incorrect policies, saying that voters have to support issues that truly affect the nation's common people and reject the BJP's polarising strategies. Vikar Rasool Wani, the president of the UT Congress, claimed that the BJP has caused suffering for the people of J&K by stealing their rights. "There is widespread unemployment and joblessness, and the resources are being mercilessly plundered, depriving the people of a secure environment and means of subsistence. All significant projects are being worked on by outside contractors at the expense of local contractors, and there is no involvement from local stakeholders," Wani stated. Raman Bhalla, the working president of the J&K Congress, took aim at the BJP for launching new booze stores in Jammu, which is known as the "City of Temples," and other places where young people are readily gullible.
