NEW DELHI: In the national capital on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with students prior to his seventh "Pariksha Pe Charcha" speech. At Bharat Mandapam, the Prime Minister was observed mingling with educators and pupils as they displayed to him their technological breakthroughs. At 11 a.m., PM Modi is scheduled to address students at the assembly of "exam warriors" on "Pariksha Pe Charcha." Students are eager to hear from the PM, according to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's post. "#ExamWarriors, parents and teachers are geared up to welcome their favourite mentor and friend, PM @narendramodi ji," the minister said. The enthusiasm and vigour surrounding #ParikshaPeCharcha are immense." Pariksha Pe Charcha is a component of the broader initiative, "Exam Warriors," spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the goal of fostering a stress-free environment for youth. Rahul Gandhi’s Nyay Yatra Resumes In West Bengal

Sonapur (WB), Jan 29: The "Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra," led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, began its trek on Monday morning from Sonapur in the Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal. According to a party leader, the Yatra started in Chopra and will continue on to Islampur, where Gandhi is expected to speak to a small group of people before arriving in Kishanganj, Bihar. "Rahul ji stayed overnight in Sonapur and departed at around eight in the morning. He is at Islampur now and will probably speak to a small group of people. The leader of the party said that he was travelling to Kishanganj. The Congress leader was greeted by party members and enthusiasts as he drove in a convoy with a high security perimeter surrounding it.After starting in Manipur on January 14, the Yatra moved from Assam into West Bengal on Thursday morning. During the two-day respite, Gandhi travelled back to New Delhi. It is expected to return to West Bengal on January 31 via Malda and depart the state on February 1 after passing through Murshidabad. The Yatra is expected to cover a distance of 6,713 miles in 67 days, passing through 110 districts in 15 states, and ending on March 20 or 21 in Mumbai. JKP committed to safety of people, says DGP Swain

JAMMU: Under the direction of Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have reiterated their dedication to public safety. At the Gulshan Ground in Jammu, DGP Swain gave the opening speech at a road safety awareness rally. He emphasised the joint efforts of the Transport Department, J&K Police, Jammu Three Sixty, and the District Administration to promote road safety. Speaking to attendees, police officers, and staff, DGP Swain praised the organisers for their effort, which immediately improves road user safety, particularly for drivers. He was also grateful to the public for their support of these projects, which served the community's interests more broadly. The top police officer emphasised the tragic circumstances in which people are left disabled and the preventable deaths that occur in traffic accidents. He emphasised that in order to solve this problem, several parties must work together. DGP Swain pledged sustained efforts, saying the J&K Police will examine accident causes in conjunction with other stakeholders, including the license-issuing body. He stated, "Regulatory changes will be implemented where necessary to enhance road safety," and he was certain that things would get better with honesty and good intentions. Successful diversion of Chenab River achieved at Ratle HE Project

KISHTWAR: With the Chenab River's diversion through the Diversion Tunnels at Drabshalla, the 850 MW Ratle HE Project in Jammu and Kashmir has reached a significant milestone. The river diversion will make it possible to isolate the dam region at the riverbed and begin the crucial task of digging and building the dam. In order to support the project's efforts to meet its May 2026 projected commissioning date, it will expedite project construction activities and help minimise delays. R K Vishnoi, the Chief Medical Director of NHPC, officially opened the River Diversion event. H Rajesh Prasad, the Principal Secretary (PDD); I D Dayal, the Chairman of RHPCL; Pankaj Mangotra, the MD of JKSPDC; NHPC Directors; A K Nauriyal, the CEO of RHPCL; and other dignitaries from NHPC and GoJK were present. Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL), a joint venture between NHPC Limited and GoJK with a 51:49 percent stake, is responsible for carrying out the Ratle Project. The 850 MW Ratle HE project is located in the Kishtwar District on the Chenab River. The project received CCEA approval from the Indian government in February 2021, with a total estimated cost of Rs 5281.94 crore. SAMBA: Under DC Abhishek Sharma's direction, the Geology and Mining Department Samba launched a major effort to stop illicit mining activities in the area. Six dumpers and four tractor-trollies were seized as a result of the day-long campaign; they are currently being held by the police while the penalties are being realised.
