Not Seeking 3rd Term For Political Gains, But For Benefit Of India: PM Modi

NEW DELHI, Feb 18: In order to secure the BJP's return to power in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged party members to work with fresh vigour and confidence over the next 100 days in order to engage with new people and earn their trust. Speaking at the BJP national conference in this place, Modi stated that in order for India to become a developed nation by 2047, the people must now dream big and make big decisions."These next five years will be very important." In order to achieve "Viksit Bharat," we must make a major leap. The prime minister stated, "The first objective is to assure the BJP's strong numerical return to office. It is Modi's dream, he continued, the dream of crores of women, the impoverished, and young people. The prime minister declared, "We made efforts to improve living standards of the poor and middle class, and we rid the country of mega scams and terror attacks."Modi declared that his goal in running for a third term was to serve the country, not to bask in power. "Building homes for crores of people would not have been possible if I had thought of my home," he remarked. He said that lifting 25 crore people out of poverty and ten years of flawless government were extraordinary accomplishments. A top leader once advised me to take a break because I had completed my work as PM and CM. However, I work for "rashtraniti," not "rajneeti," he remarked.The prime minister declared that he is inspired by and lives by the principles of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I don't live for my personal fulfilment. It is not for political purposes that I support the BJP for a third term; rather, it is for the good of India. I commit my efforts to the people of India. My pledges are to the dreams of Indians," Modi declared. He claimed to be the first prime minister to address the subject of restrooms and to talk about women from the Red Fort having dignity. According to Modi, the BJP is uniting the might of young people, women, farmers, and the youth to create a "Viksit Bharat."He remarked, "We asked those who no one acknowledged, and not only that, we have also worshipped them." The prime minister stated that "our mothers, sisters, and daughters" will have many options in the future. He also mentioned that 15,000 women's self-help organisations would receive drones as part of Mission Shakti, which aims to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for the country's women's protection and empowerment. "Now, 'Drone Didi' will introduce modernity and a scientific temperament to farming." The prime minister declared, "Now, three crore women in the nation will be made 'Lakhpati Didis'."Additionally, he said that the BJP built the Ram temple in Ayodhya, ending the people's five-century wait. In Pavagadh, Gujarat, the religious flag has been raised after 500 years. We inaugurated the Kartarpur Sahib Highway after 70 years. The nation is no longer subject to Article 370 after seven decades of waiting," the prime minister declared. [caption id="attachment_11237" align="alignnone" width="300"] Not Seeking 3rd Term…

Country Has Made Up Its Mind That PM Modi Will Be At Helm For 3rd Term: Shah At BJP Meet

New Delhi, Feb 18: Home Minister Amit Shah claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the BJP-led camp working for the country's development while the Congress-led "INDI alliance" is full of family-run parties and corruption, drawing comparisons between the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and the Mahabharata war. Shah attacked the opposition INDIA alliance for promoting dynastic and appeasement politics in his speech at the BJP's national convention held here.He was discussing the resolution "BJP: Desh ki aasha, vipaksha ki hatasha" (BJP: Hope for the country, despair for the opposition). In reference to the second, third, and fourth generations of families controlling these parties, he claimed that the opposition is full of "2G, 3G, and 4G" parties. He claimed that the prime minister had improved the nation's standing internationally and strived to advance all facets of society. There's no question in the public's mind, according to Shah, that the prime minister will serve a third term.He remarked, citing Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, Lalu Prasad, M K Stalin, and others, that whereas PM Modi considers the underprivileged and the nation's progress, the leaders of the INDIA alliance consider appointing their offspring to the positions of prime minister and chief government. He stated this amid cheers for Modi at the meeting. "All the family princes" have united against Modi because they believe that only a member of a strong family can hold the top job."There are family-run parties on the one hand, and the son of a poor mother on the other," he remarked. According to him, the administration has tried to improve the living conditions of 60 crore impoverished people who previously felt excluded from the development process. He claimed that the opposition parties were in a state of denial and that they opposed everything for the sake of opposing it, including the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, the repeal of Article 370, the prohibition on triple talaq, and the development of a new Parliament building. He claimed that because of its appeasement tactics, the Congress had declined the invitation to the dedication ceremony of the Ram temple.He claimed that the son of a tea vendor would not have been prime minister of the nation if the BJP did not practise family-run politics. First River Rejuvenation Project Completed, Locals Await “Devika’s Rebirth” Ahead Of PM Modi’s Visit

Udhampur, Feb 18: As "Devika," North India's first river restoration project, was finished in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday, excitement was building in the city. On February 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a number of projects in Jammu and Kashmir. For the indigenous communities, the Devika River is extremely sacred and is regarded as the holy Ganga's sister. Taking note of this, the government introduced the Devika Rejuvenation Project in 2019, modelled after the popular "Namami Gange" initiative. The initiative is being hailed by the people of Udhampur as the Devika River's "rebirth." The project promises possible economic benefits through sustainable tourism and local business prospects, in addition to environmental rejuvenation. After the project was completed, Udhampur resident Raghav Raine noticed notable changes in the Devika River. As we stand here in Devika today, I want to sincerely thank the people who have worked so hard to maintain these roads. I would want to express my gratitude to our Prime Minister Modi Ji, who visits every year on the 20th. This location has seen significant changes: what was before a jungle now has seating, and an event-specific open theatre has been built. This place was formerly dark, but with the addition of appropriate lighting, older people who were previously unable to enter owing to the darkness may now do so. This time, I am very looking forward to Modi Ji's coming to Devika. I wonder what presents he will bring for us," Raghav Raine remarked. Rohit Kumar, a college student, conveyed his appreciation for the city's road construction."I have observed numerous noteworthy alterations in the Devika River. There were no designated walkways when I used to visit this place, but now it has undergone full development. In the past, the river was heavily polluted. He added, "I also want to thank PM Modi for the development of the Devika River, our sacred site. Felmo Devi expects these improvements to lead to economic expansion. "It was difficult for me to believe when I first went because the Devika River was undeveloped. There were no appropriate routes.However, a major transformation has now occurred, and this will draw tourists in the future. In the future, we will also observe economic expansion. Significant changes have occurred, according to Felmo Devi. Udhampur native Tariq Shah emphasised how Prime Minister Modi's ten-year rule has had a transforming effect, making the Devika River worth seeing. "Over the course of his ten years in office, Prime Minister Modi has changed our Devika River into something very remarkable. There is a statue of Lord Shiva, and a sizable number of people visit these days.There have been beautification initiatives put in place, with the Devika River's cleanliness receiving particular focus. We hope that additional plans for Udhampur's development would be announced when PM Modi inaugurates it. Since PM Modi's arrival, Devika has seen waves of progress, according to Tariq Shah. The Devika River, often described as the Ganges' sister, is another reason to visit Udhampur.The district of Udhampur's official website states that the Nilmat Puran, penned by Nela Muni in the 7th century, mentions that the Devika River is a manifestation of Mother Goddess Parwati herself, providing benefits to the people of Mader Desha, which is the region between the rivers Chenab and Ravi. It is said that on Shiv Ratri, the Devika River arose. According to literature on the official District Udhampur website, "Lord Shiva himself is said to remain side by side with his consort Uma, manifesting in the form of Shiv Lingas at eight places alongside the Devika River." Double Engine Govt Means Double Blow To Unemployed: Rahul Gandhi Slams BJP

New Delhi, Feb 18: Regarding the problem of unemployment in Uttar Pradesh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday criticised the BJP, claiming that a "double blow" to the jobless will result from a double engine government. Gandhi stated that the “disease of unemployment” affects one-third of Uttar Pradesh's young today in a post on X that was written in Hindi. "Graduates, postgraduates, and PhD holders are waiting in queue even for the posts that require minimum qualification, where more than 1.5 lakh government posts are vacant," stated the former head of the Congress. "Double engine government equals double damage to jobless people," he declared.First of all, he stated, "the prospect of recruitment is a dream. Even if the recruitment is carried out, the paperwork gets leaked. If the paperwork is completed, the outcome is unknown. Even when the outcome is known after a protracted period of time, one frequently needs to go to court to ensure joining." He claimed that after years of waiting for enlistment, thousands of pupils have reached adulthood from the Army, the Railways, the Police, and the Education Department. Gandhi remarked, "A student caught in this maze of despair is succumbing to depression and breaking down." He asserted, "And being distressed by all this, he gets batons from the police when he comes out on the streets with his demands." According to Gandhi, a student's employment serves as both a source of income and a dream that could transform his family's circumstances. If this dream is dashed, the family's hopes are also dashed. "We will not allow the youth's penance to be in vain; the policies of Congress will do justice to their dreams," he declared. On Friday, the Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra made its way into Uttar Pradesh, where it would continue till it reaches Rajasthan. The Manipur-Mumbai Yatra, which will run 6,700 kilometres from east to west across 15 states, intends to meet ordinary people while promoting the idea of "nyay" (justice).
