BJP Hits Campaign Trail In J&K, Eyes All Five LS Seats

Srinagar, Jan 27: Senior party official Ashok Kaul stated on Saturday that the BJP has begun its campaign trail in Jammu and Kashmir with the goal of securing all five Lok Sabha seats in the Union Territory. The preparations for the upcoming elections have begun. Following a party meeting, Kaul told reporters in Anantnag that Dr. Nirmal Singh has been designated by the party as the sector in-charge for the five Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir. In the five constituencies, he said, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will open six election offices, which will open on January 30."All six offices, including two for the Rajouri and Anantnag seats and one for each of the remaining four constituencies, will be formally opened by the leader of the Jammu and Kashmir BJP on January 30. We'll work to support the BJP in securing all five seats in Jammu & Kashmir," he said. Speaking of the INDIA bloc, Kaul said his party has always maintained that it is a contrived image. "We have always said that this partnership between India and us is a marketing gimmick. Bengal (TMC) has made one turn, Delhi (AAP) and Punjab (Punjab) have made another, and the party they designated as convenor is also wavering. As of right now, the alliance is no more," he said.According to Kaul, a Gupkar alliance was established in Jammu and Kashmir, but it is also disintegrating. After the Centre divided Jammu and Kashmir into Union territories—J&K and Ladakh—and revoked the state's special status under Article 370, the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) was established in 2019. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh hosts Republic Day reception for ISRO women scientists

NEW DELHI: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh hosted a reception at his residence in New Delhi for the approximately 225 women scientists from ISRO who led the ISRO's Republic Day tableau at Kartavya Path. These included the outstanding group of female scientists portrayed in Chandrayaan-3, Aditya L1, and other recent triumphs that have won praise from all throughout the world. Eight women scientists led the ISRO tableau, while 220 invited women scientists and their spouses supported the group. The all-female group originated from different ISRO facilities located in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Sriharikota, and Thiruvananthapuram.The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's introduction of new space reforms and release of the space industry from historical constraints made this momentous day possible. Singh also serves as the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space. The female scientists expressed their profound sense of pride and privilege at the unprompted cheers they received as the ISRO tableau made its way along the Kartavya Path. They expressed their appreciation for the chance to present their accomplishments to the country and said they were blown away by the friendly welcome they received in the nation's capital, which let them forget about the chilly winters in Delhi.Dr Jitendra Singh stated that the ISRO "Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchaan" narration began as the ISRO tableau drew closer to the President's enclosure. The space agency captured the historic moment on August 23 of last year, when its spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 successfully touched down on the moon. India became the first and only nation in history to set foot close to the uncharted lunar south pole as a result of the historic event. The Minister was presented to female scientists and project directors by ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, including Radha Devi of ADRIL, Nigar Shaji, ISRO's "Sunny Lady," and other notable women scientists who have made history, such as Kalpana Kalahasti, Reema Ghosh, Ritu Karidhal, and Nidhi Porwal.Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh declared that women will be equal partners in our country's journey during the Amritkaal and that ISRO's women scientists will be its torchbearers as we move towards a Viksit Bharat in 2047. India's Chandrayaan-3 mission last year made history by becoming the fourth nation to successfully land a robotic spacecraft on the moon. Afterwards, it launched India's first solar mission, the Aditya-L1, with success. These achievements not only strengthened India's position in the international space economy but also provided impetus for the country's commercial space industry. India currently has several goals, including the Gaganyaan Mission in 2024–2025, the establishment of 'Bharatiya Antariksha Station' by 2035, and the flight of the first Indian astronaut to the moon by 2040. Congress seals alliance with Samajwadi Party; gets 11 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW: Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, stated on Saturday that the alliance between his party and the Congress is "off to a good start" because Uttar Pradesh has 11 "strong" Lok Sabha seats. Elections for the Lower House of Parliament, which the state sends 80 members to, are scheduled for April or May. "With 11 solid seats, our friendly partnership with the Congress is off to a great start. With the winning equation, this tendency will continue. Yadav wrote in Hindi on 'X' that the 'INDIA' team and the 'PDA' plan will change history.This development coincides with clear signs that JD(U) president and chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, may do another U-turn and join the BJP-led NDA. After cutting his connections with the BJP in August 2022, Kumar teamed up with the RJD, which was established by his erstwhile fierce opponent Lalu Prasad. After that, the chief minister of Bihar with the longest tenure started an initiative to unite all political parties in the nation against the BJP, which resulted in the creation of the opposition alliance INDIA. Should Kumar choose to rejoin the NDA, it would be a major blow to the opposition alliance.   [caption id="attachment_9731" align="alignnone" width="300"] Congress seals alliance with Samajwadi Party; gets 11 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh[/caption]
