CWC 2023: ‘Miyan Magic’ combined with Shami’s lethal spell powers India to semi-final after 302 run victory against SL

MUMBAI: Mohammed Shami took the lead to lead India to the World Cup semi-finals following a commanding 302 run victory at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, mirroring the thrilling display of Mohammed Siraj in the Asia Cup final. The pace trio has been unbeatable since Shami entered the Indian playing XI, and the batsmen once again gave way to their skill. With the opening delivery, Bumrah sent Pathum Nissanka back for a golden duck, swerving sharply, finding an edge along the way, and hitting the pads just in front of the stumps.
