Rahul offers ‘sewa’ at community kitchen of Golden Temple

AMRITSAR: On Tuesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid a second visit to the Golden Temple and provided "sewa" at the "langar" (community kitchen). Gandhi provided "sewa" (volunteer service) by peeling vegetables and then washed utensils after arriving at the "langar" hall. The previous head of the Congress offered "langar" to the incoming worshippers while wearing a blue scarf on his head. Later, he sat on the floor and consumed "langar". He stayed at the neighbourhood kitchen the majority of the time. Gandhi arrived in Amritsar on Monday and immediately went to the Golden Temple.He had done "sewa" by giving water to followers and wiping down their bowls. 3 soldiers injured, 2-3 militants trapped in Kalakote forests

RAJOURI, Oct 2: In a clash with two to three militants tonight at the Broh forests in the Kalakote tehsil of this border district, three Army soldiers were hurt. While search operations were being conducted in Broh by the Army, police, and paramilitary forces this afternoon, a contact with the militants was made tonight, resulting in a significant exchange of gunfire. Daljeet Singh, alias Sethi, son of Attar Singh of Goura Chak tehsil Ramgarh district Samba, has been identified as the arrested eve teaser. A police report has been filed at Police Station (PS) Ramgarh in response to a complaint from a young girl pupil in the seventh grade. The suspect has been taken into custody, and an investigation is ongoing. Encounter breaks out between terrorists & security officials in Rajouri

RAJOURI: Terrorists and security personnel engaged in combat late on Monday night during a search operation in the Kalakote forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, according to officials.
