SRINAGAR: The night temperature across Kashmir plummeted further with Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recording the coldest night of season at minus 5.4 degree Celsius. Every station has reported a temperature below zero, and Qazigund, the entry point to Kashmir, has recorded a low of minus 3.8 degrees Celsius. Famous tourist destination Pahalgam recorded a minimum temperature of minus 5.8 degrees Celsius, while popular ski resort Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 5.0 degrees Celsius. The lowest recorded temperature in Kokernag was minus 1.6 degrees Celsius, while the mercury in Kupwara settled at minus 4.2 degrees.
