POONCH: Anand Jain, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu Zone, stated on Friday that police and security personnel will continue to give top priority to counterterrorism operations in the area. While presiding over a security and crime assessment meeting in Conference Hall DPO Poonch, ADGP Jammu Zone made these statements. Dr. Haseeb Mughal, DIG Rajouri Poonch Range, was with him. SSP Poonch provided ADGP with a thorough PPT briefing at the meeting on the actions being taken to carry out anti-militancy operations and drive out the militancy from the district. The meeting’s goals were to talk about the most recent attack on security troops.It is clear that there is a resurgence of terrorism in the area, but the police and security agencies must take all necessary precautions to contain the problem from the start. The ADGP Jammu Zone emphasised the importance of closely monitoring all subversive actions taking place in the Poonch district. He claimed that the enemy nation is constantly looking for methods to intrude on this district’s tranquilly and serenity.
