NAGPUR, Sept 1: Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), referred to what he called people’s expectations that the Sangh should be concerned about everyone when he declared that India is a “Hindu Rashtra,” all Indians are Hindus, and the word “Hindu” represents all Indians.
The RSS leader was addressing at the opening of Madhukar Bhavan, a new structure owned by Shri Narkesari Prakashan Ltd., the company that publishes Dainik Tarun Bharat.
‘Hindu Rashtra’ refers to Hindustan (India), and this is a truth. In terms of ideology, all Indians, or Bharatiyas, are Hindus, and all Hindus are all Bharatiyas. Nothing else relates them to Hindu culture, Hindu ancestry, or Hindu territory more than these three things, he claimed.Because of their habits and selfishness, some people are not putting this into practise even after learning it. Additionally, some people either don’t understand it yet or have forgotten it,” he added.
Speaking to the crowd gathered outside the newspaper’s office, he stressed that while “keeping our own ideology intact,” reporting should cover everyone, be done equitably, and be based on facts.
According to Bhagwat, “our ideology” is much sought after all over the world. In actuality, he asserted, there is no opposing philosophy.Everyone has a clear understanding of this. He said that it is only reasonable that the nation, society, and media sources that promote the “ideology” carry the burden of the world’s responsibilities in this regard. “Some people acknowledge it, while others do not,” he said.
Bhagwat underlined the value of sustaining “Swadeshi”, family values, and discipline.
