NEW DELHI: Aditya-L1, the nation’s first solar mission, is scheduled to launch today at 11:50 a.m. from the launch site at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is prepared to launch the nation’s first solar mission, Aditya-L1, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR) in AP’s Sriharikota, now that the launch rehearsal and internal vehicle checks have been finished. After successfully deploying a lander in the unexplored South Pole region of the moon on August 23, ISRO will launch India’s first solar space observatory Aditya-L1 by the PSLV-C57. To conduct a thorough study of the sun, it will transport seven separate payloads, four of which will monitor in-situ plasma and magnetic field parameters, while the other three will measure solar light.
