JAMMU: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain on Monday visited Poonch to review the district’s operational readiness and training programs.
He was accompanied by the DIG RP Range, DIG Training (PHQ), and SSP Poonch, Shafqat Hussain.
During the visit, the ADGP was briefed on the district’s security measures, ongoing training programs, and operational preparedness.
He also interacted with personnel from the Special Operations Group (SOG), addressing issues related to equipment, infrastructure, and welfare to ensure all units are ready to tackle challenges effectively.
The ADGP stressed the importance of strengthening the intelligence network and maintaining coordination among teams to counter any threats.
He urged officers to focus on gathering strong electronic and circumstantial evidence for faster case resolution and securing convictions.
