UDHAMPUR: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, on Tuesday conducted a comprehensive review of security operations in Basantgarh, Udhampur district, in response to recent security developments in the region.
The ADGP’s visit focused on evaluating the operational readiness of local police forces to address emerging threats and ensure the safety of residents.
During the visit, the ADGP inspected the Police Station Basantgarh and held discussions with officers from various units, including the Special Operations Group (SOG), to review ongoing security measures.
Key areas of focus included the assessment of equipment, resources, and personnel training levels.
Addressing the officers, ADGP Jain stressed the need for continuous vigilance, proactive intelligence gathering, and swift response strategies to effectively counter any security challenges in the area.
