POONCH, JULY 06: A meeting to assess the requirement and arrangements with regard to observance of Muharram was held here in the Imambara complex under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner , Tahir Mustafa Malik.
The representatives of the Shia Muslim organisations and the officers of the line departments participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed and finalized the arrangements for power supply, water supply, provision of ration, firewood, sanitation, street lighting and medicare facilities etc.
The ADC issued on the spot instructions to the concerned to ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place in and around the Imambara and adjacent places so that the Muharram processions and Majalis were held smoothly.
