New Delhi, Jun 11: According to data published on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry, 140 new coronavirus infections have been reported in India, while the number of current cases has decreased to 2,450.The data updated at 8 am showed that the death toll increased to 5,31,891 with three deaths, one of which Kerala reconciled.
According to the government, the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.81%, and the number of ongoing cases represents just 0.01 percent of all infections.
With 4,44,58,447 people making a full recovery, the case mortality rate has decreased to 1.18 percent.
According to the ministry’s website, as part of the ongoing national vaccination programme, 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have already been administered to the nation. (Agencies)
