SAMBA: Late Friday night, a murder suspect broke out of the Ramgarh Police Station (PS) in Samba. Sahil Sharma, also known as Gilka, is the son of Rakesh Kumar of Vijaypur. He was detained in connection with FIR No. 93/2023 U/S 302,148,149 IPC, 3/4/25, A. Act, and was kept in lockup at Police Station Ramgarh. However, sources claim that Gilka has escaped from police custody. He and the other three suspects were taken into custody a few days ago. They are all connected to the murder of Akshay, which took place on December 25, 2023, in the Ramgarh Police Station’s jurisdictional area of Gudwal. Samba Police has conducted search operations in this regard at various sites, but they have not been successful thus far.
