SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha stated here on Saturday that the achievements made by Jammu and Kashmir over the past four years are something that the entire nation is proud of. He conveyed his appreciation to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for participating in the nationwide campaign to guarantee that the government’s flagship projects benefit everyone who is meant to at an event held here as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. “What Jammu and Kashmir has accomplished in the last four years is something that the entire country is proud of today. We must ensure that they have access to and make the most of the opportunities that a revived Jammu and Kashmir has to offer. Our constant focus is on the economic empowerment of women, farmers, and the youth,” Sinha stated.“The underprivileged and marginalised groups in society now have a greater feeling of self-confidence because to the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The strength of this yatra is ‘jan bhagidari’ (people’s participation), and people’s combined strength will be crucial to reaching scheme saturation and economic improvement, he stated. The lieutenant governor reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable development, noting that the lives of the world’s poorest people have been drastically improved by a number of social programmes and the quick advancement of all industries under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direction. He remarked that Prime Minister Modi has given the average person the strength and ability to stand on their own two feet. According to him, the administration of the Union territory is dedicated to providing the people with full service and quickly resolving their problems. Sinha said that he personally kept an eye on Jammu and Kashmir’s electrical supply condition every day. A severe winter has left Jammu and Kashmir with a power shortage. Additionally, he praised the efforts made by the Municipal Corporation and Srinagar Smart City Limited to turn the city into a model of urban change. The lieutenant governor claimed that the unprecedentedly large-scale New Year’s Eve celebrations at Lal Chowk, which continued late into the night, heralded a good shift in people’s lives and the return of Kashmir to its former splendour. He went around to the various departments’ booths and gave the recipients of various schemes their sanction letters and benefits.
