SRINAGAR: Parts of Kashmir have seen even lower minimum temperatures; Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital, recorded the season’s coldest night at minus 4.8 degrees Celsius. According to the information that is currently available, all of the stations have recorded temperatures below zero. A minimum temperature of minus 3.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Qazigund, and minus 3.6 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg. Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.0 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam, a well-known tourist destination, recorded a low of minus 4.7 degrees Celsius.
