Speaking to reporters during the BJP’s Diwali Milan event at the party’s headquarters in this city, Modi also mentioned his determination to see “Viksit Bharat” (developed India) become a reality, stressing that these are not just words. He added that people have supported being “vocal for local.” Modi went on to say that the nation’s successes during the COVID-19 pandemic gave people hope that India would not give up. He added, “Chhath Puja is a matter of great happiness and has become a ‘rashtriya parva’ (national festival).
