SRINAGAR: According to officials, several houseboats were destroyed after a massive fire broke out on a houseboat in Dal Lake on the outskirts of Srinagar district in Jammu and Kashmir. The fire started in one of the houseboats late Friday night and quickly spread to several others. The officials also stated that there were no immediate reports of injuries or deaths as a result of the fire. “A massive fire on Dal Lake gutted several houseboats.” “A fire broke out in one of the houseboats and spread to several others,” they said.
