JAMMU: BJP leader Ravinder Raina declared on Wednesday that the saffron party in the Union Territory will win the majority of seats in the Lok Sabha elections to come next year, claiming that the political life of opposition parties in Jammu and Kashmir is on the edge of extinction. During the party’s Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan in Kot village in the Raipur Domana mandal here, Raina, the head of the BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit, made the remarks. “Fearing defeat in the elections, the opposition parties are making false statements and targeting the BJP on one pretext or the other. However, the truth is that their political existence is in danger of disappearing,” he stated.According to Raina, the opposition parties were taken aback by the enormous public response to the Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan. “Voters will be choosing the BJP to elect (Narendra) Modi to a third straight term as prime minister, ushering in a new era in the political history of the country in the general elections of 2024. “Jammu and Kashmir voters will help guarantee that the BJP wins the Lok Sabha elections here as well,” he stated. A tide of change is evident throughout Jammu and Kashmir, according to BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, and the people want the BJP to lead the state in order to serve them. “The people have had very bitter experience of the governments of the Congress and the National Conference in the past and have made up their minds to teach these parties a lesson for making false promises and betraying them,” he stated.
