JAMMU: With full military honours, Subedar Balbir Singh of the 2nd JAK LI (Sherwani) was cremated in his home hamlet of Mandiyal in the Ramgarh district of the Samba District. He was admitted to Panchkula Military Base Hospital after suffering a cerebral stroke while performing his duties, where he passed away. The three men who survive Subedar Balbir Singh are his mother, wife, and two sons.
