SRINAGAR, Oct 2: Omar Abdullah, the vice president of the National Conference and a former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, remarked on Monday, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, “It is unfortunate that we go opposite to the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.” “If we uphold the teachings of Gandhiji, this nation will only get better. At times, it seems as though we only think of Gandhiji when we travel overseas or when world leaders come to visit Rajghat. However, on the other days, we both forget and deviate from Gandhi’s way of life, Abdullah told reporters in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
