JAMMU: A delegation of senior leaders of the Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), led by its Working President and former Minister Raman Bhalla, today called on the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha.During the meeting, the delegation discussed pressing welfare concerns of families and farmers affected by recent natural calamities in Jammu & Kashmir. They submitted a memorandum urging the Central Government to announce a comprehensive relief, rehabilitation, restoration, and reconstruction package for the affected communities.The leaders also pressed for the constitution of a high-level expert team to visit landslide and land sinking affected areas to assess the damage and suggest remedial measures. In addition, the delegation demanded urgent repairs and restoration of damaged road infrastructure along with timely completion of vital road projects across J&K.The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured the delegation that the concerns will be taken up on priority for early resolution
