Police register case after pro-Khalistan graffiti painted on wall at Delhi

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police on Thursday opened an investigation into the Pro-Khalistan graffiti that was discovered on the walls at Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate overpass. On September 27, pro-Khalistan graffiti was discovered on the wall at Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate flyover; it has since been cleaned up. On September 27, video surfaced that contained some images of graffiti defacing property. According to the notices seen in the film, thorough search was conducted in the North District area, and according to the police, graffiti was discovered on the Yudhister Setu flyover that runs from Seelampur to Kashmiri Gate. The FIR has been filed in the meantime by the police in accordance with the pertinent IPC sections and the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act.Further investigation is underway.
