UDHAMPUR: In a crackdown on illegal sale of controlled substances, District Police Udhampur, in presence of Drug Inspector Udhampur and Executive Magistrate Udhampur, seized two medical shops for violation of Drug Cosmetics Act.
The action was taken against these shops because of non-maintenance of sale and purchase record of Scheduled H1 Drugs, which can only be sold by chemist with a valid prescription.
These seized medical stores are as Ms SAI Medicos at New Hospital Road Udhampur and SAI Medicos, Christian Colony, opposite Peer Baba, near Forest Office Udhampur.
