SRINAGAR: Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of J&K, stated on Tuesday that the administration is dedicated to making J&K a haven free of terrorism. Security personnel, according to him, are working nonstop to put the final nail in the coffin of terrorism and its support system. “Our government is dedicated to eradicating terrorism from J&K. Terrorism that was encouraged over the border affected society like a cancer. In his speech to the 77th Independence Day celebration at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said, “Our security forces are working ceaselessly to drive the final nail in the coffin of terror and its ecosystem.The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, praised the security forces’ involvement in maintaining peace in J&K and noted that the region’s mountains are a living memorial to the precious sacrifices made by our military personnel who gave their lives to protect the integrity and sovereignty of the country. “I salute the martyrs on the eve of the 77th Independence Day festivities and wish to reassure their families that the entire state of J&K and the country stands with them. You won’t be disappointed in any manner, stated LG Sinha. According to LG Sinha, I have promised the people of J&K from this location for the past three years that I will keep all of my commitments that help to ensure a peaceful Jammu and Kashmir. “Today we have had a lot of success, but there is still work to be done in this area in the future,” he stated. The Lieutenant Governor stated that the Union Territory of J&K has seen an unprecedented 1.27 crore tourists this year, including foreign visitors. “The number of foreign tourists visiting J&K increased by 59% this year. This year’s G20 meeting in Srinagar contributed to the international promotion of J&K. The G20 meeting’s attendees left with a message of hope for the outer world. Now, J&K is acknowledged as a peaceful, beautiful location, according to LG Sinha. The “J&K government is trying its best to ensure a peaceful and fearless atmosphere for every citizen so that he/she will live his/her life of his/her own choice and without any coercion.”I didn’t make any promises three years ago; instead, I said that I was coming to J&K to keep commitments that I made,” he continued. He claimed that after a 34-year break, Muharram processions were permitted to travel along traditional routes, which is an indication that life has returned to normal and that peace has returned to J&K. “During the Muharram procession, Shia mourners marched along established paths without any fear. This happened after a 34-year hiatus. The rehabilitation of theatres and the reopening of theatres are more signs that J&K is beginning to experience peace.
