JAMMU: On Friday at around 9 pm, a bomb threat call was received for the Delhi–Jammu Tawi Rajdhani Express, which caused panic among the passengers. After receiving the call, the train was halted for inspection at Sonipat, Haryana, about 9:35 p.m. A team of police, Rohtak sniffer dogs, and bomb disposal specialists arrived at the scene and thoroughly inspected the train. The site was also reached by an ambulance, a fire department, the Government Railway Police (GRP), the Railway Protection Force (RPF), and railroad employees. The train has not been searched for anything suspicious, and all of the passengers are said to be safe. “A bomb threat made on the Sonipat-stopped New Delhi-Jammu Tawi Rajdhani Express turned out to be a hoax. After being searched by security wings, the train left for its destination at 2 a.m. on Saturday, with all of the passengers on board safely, according to CPRO Northern Railway. The train left the New Delhi railway station at the scheduled time of 8:40 pm, and its next stop was Ludhiana. The planned schedule calls for the train to arrive in Jammu at 5 am.
