KISHTWAR: Marking a major move to facilitate Shri Machail Mata Yatra pilgrims, Div Com Jammu, Ramesh Kumar along with DC Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav and SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Ahmed Poswal on Friday visited Machail and inaugurated first of its kind 30 KW hybrid solar power plant – a guest House and three Mushroom Model Tents at Gulabgarh for providing accommodation to devotees during the Yatra.DDC member Paddar Hari Krishan Chauhan, ADC Kishtwar Inderjeet Singh Parihar, SDM Paddar Arun Kumar Badyal, CEO Kishtwar Development Authority Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, Tehsildar Atholi Satish Rana, SDPO Paddar Manoj Kumar, Incharge Machail Mata Yatra Cell Lovemeet Kotwal, and PRIs were among the dignitaries who attended the historic event. In order to provide for the electricity requirements at the Machail Mata temple, Bhawan, and its surrounding region, as well as to ensure sufficient illumination for the safety of the Yatris during the Pilgrimage, a 30KW hybrid solar power plant has been erected. The Machail Mata Bhawan in Gulabgarh was also inspected by the Divisional Commissioner, who instructed the responsible officials to speed up the unfinished work. The Div Com Jammu also paid respects at the Machail Mata Bhawan and evaluated the arrangements made for the convenience of pilgrims visiting the venerated shrine in addition to interacting with them and learning about the amenities offered. The Div Com commended the residents of Paddar on the launch of important assets designed to draw as many pilgrim travellers as possible by providing the greatest facilities.He emphasised that the increased resources will help strengthen neighbourhood infrastructure and support the region’s general growth momentum. In addition to these openings, the Div Com Jammu reviewed all of the amenities provided for the pilgrims, including the provision of water and electricity supply, sanitation, chopper services, lodging, transportation, security, and other amenities. In order to ensure that the pilgrims have a smooth and enjoyable Yatra experience, he urged the district and local authorities to cooperate together. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, presented a thorough overview of the preparations done this year for the Yatris’ convenience during the festival. At the Machail Bhawan, one of these is a set of suitable tents. The DC also provided information on the availability of helicopter services for Yatris, the food stands and home-stay facilities run by local business owners, mobile coverage in the Bhawan and while travelling, and Micro ATMs built at six specific locations in the Paddar region. He added that the recently developed official website, http://www.shrimachailmatayatra.com, gives support to pilgrims before and during their journey by providing thorough information about various amenities and updates as well as a dedicated control centre.The Div Com Jammu urged the pilgrims to respect the sacredness of the pilgrimage site, follow the rules established by the authorities, and work with security officers.
