Leh, Feb 14: In Ladakh, nine unexploded shells were discovered and were demolished in a controlled explosion, an official reported on Wednesday. According to an official spokesman, Councillor Sonam Thardos informed the Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) about the shells found in Chulitse Kulum in Kharu. He added that once the SDM brought up the issue with the Army’s Trishul Division, its engineers made sure the shells were quickly disposed of in front of the local police.
