Srinagar, Jun 20 : On Tuesday, police in the Srinagar city recovered 800 bottles of the psychoactive narcotic codeine phosphate from a car that attempted to scale a checkpoint.
According to the police, a Scorpio vehicle sped away from the checkpoint in the city’s suburb of Chanapora.
“The vehicle was stopped, and inside were found 800 bottles of codeine phosphate.”An FIR was filed against the accused after one Muhammad Yasin Rather of Chanapora was detained, according to the police.
