SRINAGAR: After 44 weeks of training, 599 recruits were officially welcomed into the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday. At the attestation ceremony and passing out parade, which took place at the BSF Subsidiary Training Centre in Humhama, Budgam district, the recruits were officially welcomed. According to a BSF official, 204 of the trainees are from Odisha, 208 are from Andhra Pradesh-208, 112 are from Kerala, and 75 are from Telangana. The trainees are from Eastern and Southern India. The parade’s primary guest was BSF Director General Nitin Agrawal. Speaking to the recruits, DG BSF expressed his gratitude for the parade’s high point—an outstanding demonstration of coordination, abilities, and self-assurance. He congratulated the recruits for selecting the BSF as their professional path and urged them to bravely and enthusiastically serve their country. DG BSF thanked the Inspector General of Frontier BSF Kashmir and the training teams in his speech for their successful efforts in moulding the recruits into trained Seema Prahari, instilling confidence in them, and transforming them into disciplined Jawans. He wished the recruits a prosperous life and years of professional service. Medals were given out by the Chief Guest to Recruits who excelled in a variety of indoor and outdoor training exercises. Const P. Narendra was in charge of the procession.According to the spokesman, during the period of 44 weeks of training, the recruits progressively improved their competency with various weapon kinds, shooting techniques, law, drill, and border management. In addition, as a consequence of the STC BSF, Kashmir trainers’ tireless efforts, their physical efficiency rose significantly, making them professionally, psychologically, and physically equipped to serve the country in both peacetime and times of war. In addition to the aforementioned, the recruits received instruction in human rights, law and order, counterterrorism, field engineering, tactics, and other areas,” he stated. The mood was electrified after the passing out procession, brass band performance, demonstration of South Indian traditional martial arts (kalaripayattu), and the recruits’ rendition of the BSF hymn.
