SRINAGAR: Tuesday afternoon saw an accident involving a taxi carrying tourists at Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh route, resulting in the deaths of at least four of them. At Yadav Morh, close to Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh route, an SUV carrying at least seven tourists was involved in an accident that caused it to crash into a gorge, according to an official. He added that at least four people perished in the accident and that a rescue effort was started right after. It is reported that the deceased were from Kerala. More information is anticipated.
