RAMBAN: This evening, four officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police were hurt in a collision on NH-44 close to Banihal, according to authorities. A car travelling from Doda to Srinagar, according to the police, swerved off the highway close to Chamalwas Banihal and rolled down a few metres from the road. Chamalwas is located five kilometres from Banihal. They claimed that after launching a rescue effort, local police and volunteers from Banihal transported all of the injured to the Sub District Hospital in Banihal. A hospital official stated that all of the injured police officers are in stable condition. Assadullah’s son Sajad Ahmed of Qazigund, Nazir Ahmed’s son Adil Nazir of Hazratbal Srinagar, Mehraj ud Din of Abdul Rashid’s residence in Noor Bagh Srinagar, and Parvaiz Ahmed of Anantnag’s father Abdul Rashid were identified as the injured.
