JAMMU: An extensive operation was started throughout the Doda district, overseen by MVD personnel and led by ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta. The MVD team carried out a comprehensive crackdown by deliberately focusing on vulnerable areas with a high volume of traffic violations. With the issuance of 356 challans and 91 compounds, a significant revenue collection of Rs 898,700 was made. This operation aims to send a strong message about the significance of adhering to traffic regulations in addition to penalising violators.The MVD department took decisive action during the operation, suspending and cancelling nine driver’s licences. Tough warnings were sent out regarding erroneous driver’s licences (D/L) and registration certificates (R/C). Visits to important locations like NH 244, Gandoh, Gawari, Thathri, Ghat, Bhart Road, Udhyanpur, and Dessa demonstrated the team’s prompt response. The district’s dedication to upholding traffic safety regulations was demonstrated by the challans that were given out for a variety of infractions.
