JAMMU, Jun 12: officials said on Monday 3 men, including a Punjab resident, were injured in a firing incident following a clash between two groups near a bus stand in Samba district’s Ramgarh sector along the India-Pakistan border.According to them, two citizens of Punjab were also held in relation to the 4 am shooting that took place close to the Rangoor bus stop.
Benam Tosh, a senior superintendent of police, went to the scene of the incident and is in charge of overseeing the inquiry.
The authorities claimed they are looking at every possibility, including narcotics smuggling. Tosh reported that “three people were injured as a result of a firing incident. We are looking into the situation in great detail.The three Punjab residents arrived at Rangoor in Ramgarh in a car with a Chandigarh registration, according to the officials, and allegedly opened fire on some people.
They suggested that the altercation and subsequent shooting incident may have been caused by long-standing animosity and rivalry.
As a result of gunshot wounds, Sunil Kumar (age 25), Sunil Kumar (age 23), and Sunny Kumar (age 30) of Amritsar, Punjab, were all admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu, according to the officials.They said that Taran Taran, Punjab residents Satinderpal Singh and Jagpreet Singh were both apprehended in relation to the event. A comprehensive investigation of the occurrence was sought by the local sarpanch, Kali Dass.
