JAMMU: According to sources, two members of the Border Security Force (BSF) were shot during a fire incident on Tuesday night near the International Border (IB). The injured BSF members were taken to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital where it was reported that they were in a “stable” condition. Despite the BSF’s silence over the incident, official sources claimed that a preliminary inquiry revealed the shooting originated from across the boundary. They claimed that when gunfire erupted outside the border guards’ position on Tuesday night in the R S Pura sector’s Arnia neighbourhood, injuries were sustained. More information on the incident is awaited, according to the sources.
