26-Nov : Doda Police while conducting checking against the traffic violators, has seized (02) vehicles and challaned (48) vehicles for violating traffic Laws on different routes in Doda District.
Mentionable here that in special drive against traffic violators, Doda Police, apart from registration of FIRs against erring drivers, has seized and challaned number of vehicles for carrying passengers beyond the seating capacity and other traffic violations.
General Public is informed and appealed by Police to co-operate with Police and inform, if any driver especially drivers of passanger vehicles are noticed carrying overload or drive rashly and negligently, or in drunken condition stringent action will be taken by Police which will lead to suspension of vehicle papers and driving licence besides registration of FIRs against erring drivers.
