{"id":9635,"date":"2024-01-25T12:16:08","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T12:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=9635"},"modified":"2024-01-25T12:16:08","modified_gmt":"2024-01-25T12:16:08","slug":"dulloo-administers-pledge-to-officers-on-14th-nvd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/dulloo-administers-pledge-to-officers-on-14th-nvd\/","title":{"rendered":"Dulloo administers pledge to officers on 14th NVD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JAMMU, JANUARY 25: <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/cs-for-laying-focus-on-completion-of-schemes-under-jjm\/\">Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo<\/a> today administered \u2018Voter\u2019s Pledge\u2019 to the officers\/officials of the Civil Secretariat here on the occasion of 14th National Voters\u2019 Day (NVD), 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pledge ceremony was attended by all the<a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/cs-dr-mehta-reviews-preparations-for-the-upcoming-vigilance-awareness-week\/\"> Administrative Secretaries<\/a>, Secretaries in various Departments besides other officers and officials of the Civil Secretariat here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Srinagar based officers participated through video conferencing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like last year the theme of NVD 2024 has been set as \u2018Nothing Like Voting, I Vote For Sure\u2019. The Day is celebrated to renew the faith of the citizens of the nation in democracy and it\u2019s traditions here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also beckons the voters to participate in this democratic process with dignity ensuring free, fair and peaceful elections. The pledge also encourages them to vote in every election fearlessly without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or other inducements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pertinent to mention here that since 2011 the National Voters\u2019 Day has been celebrated on January 25 every year, across the country to mark the foundation day of the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/sc-refuses-to-stay-new-law-on-appointment-of-cec-ecs-issues-notice-to-centre\/\">Election Commission<\/a> of India, i.e. 25th January 1950.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dedicated to the voters of the country, the National Voters&#8217; Day is also used to facilitate enrolment of voters, especially the newly eligible young voters.
