{"id":815,"date":"2023-07-05T06:47:56","date_gmt":"2023-07-05T06:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=815"},"modified":"2023-07-05T06:47:56","modified_gmt":"2023-07-05T06:47:56","slug":"administrative-council-approves-priorities-for-all-departments-for-the-financial-year-2023-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/administrative-council-approves-priorities-for-all-departments-for-the-financial-year-2023-24\/","title":{"rendered":"Administrative Council Approves Priorities For All Departments For The Financial Year 2023-24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SRINAGAR, Jul 4:A comprehensive list of priority works for all ministries for the fiscal year 2023\u201324 was adopted by the Administrative Council (AC), which met here today under the supervision of <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/director-nit-srinagar-chairman-ddc-srinagar-call-on-lt-governor\/\">Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha<\/a>, in a significant decision.The meeting was attended by Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/csreviews-traffic-management-in-srinagar-town\/\">Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/chief-secretary-facilitate-movement-of-civilians-tourists-on-national-highway-as-well\/\">Chief Secretary<\/a>, J&amp;K, and Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor.The Government of Jammu &amp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/more-than-6500-amarnath-pilgrims-leave-jk\/\"> Kashmir<\/a> established a novel initiative during the previous fiscal year in which the priority tasks with respect to each department were determined and timetables were defined to fulfil them. These priority works are clearly defined deliverables. In collaboration with the relevant departments, the task of defining the specific departmental outputs and setting attainable, time-bound goals was carried out, and monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual timeframes were established.The deliverables mainly consist of numerous projects for development, improvements in service delivery, revenue creation, welfare initiatives, and other essential tasks for each department. A total of 1137 deliverables were given to the departments during the previous fiscal year. Additionally, the district and divisional administrations gave priority to implementing these departmental deliverables by doing enough planning, evaluation, and gap analysis for prompt action to meet the established goals.The implementation of these deliverables was tracked by a formal system at the Secretariat level, and monthly rankings of accomplishments at both the Secretariat and district levels led to a healthy level of rivalry among the many branches of the <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/blue-pansy-declared-as-butterfly-of-jk\/\">government<\/a>.These initiatives aim to increase efficiency and productivity by improving interdepartmental convergence and coordination. They also specify the quality and quantity of departmental services to be guaranteed in a time-bound manner.<br \/>\nThe government made the decision to carry out the exercise of assigning deliverables to all the ministries for this fiscal year after determining that the initiative was successful in promoting growth and development in the Union territory through transformative action in all areas.The list of deliverables during this fiscal year often includes 1791 concrete goals. The exercise, which is exclusive to J&amp;K, provides all departments with clear direction for the way forward. It is important to note that J&amp;K has become a leader in many facets of governance, and that the foundation of these changes is this innovative effort.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_816\"
