{"id":583,"date":"2023-06-21T13:58:38","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T13:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=583"},"modified":"2023-06-21T13:58:38","modified_gmt":"2023-06-21T13:58:38","slug":"in-kishtwar-video-of-man-assaulting-cop-goes-viral-accused-nabbed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/in-kishtwar-video-of-man-assaulting-cop-goes-viral-accused-nabbed\/","title":{"rendered":"In Kishtwar, Video Of Man Assaulting Cop Goes Viral, Accused Nabbed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JAMMU: officials said on Wednesday that <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/800-bottles-of-psychotropic-drug-seized-in-srinagar\/\">Police<\/a> have arrested a man who was seen in a video assaulting an armed police personnel after knocking him to the ground in <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/1-dead-another-injured-as-car-plunges-into-gorge-in-kishtwar\/\">Kishtwar<\/a> district.<\/p>\n<p>According to a police official, Rakeen Ziya of the Sangrambhata village in the district was detained by a police party led by Senior Superintendent of Police (Kishtwar) Khalil Poswal.<\/p>\n<p>After learning of the occurrence, the senior police officer sped to the location and, after a chase, captured the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, the alleged incident happened on Tuesday in Zelna village when the officer, who was assigned as the Assistant Regional Transport Office&#8217;s (ARTO) personal security officer, sought to stop Ziya from acting inappropriately with his protectee.<\/p>\n<p>The accused is allegedly shown in the widely shared social media video punching and kicking the armed police officer as bystanders attempt to stop him.
