REASI, NOVEMBER 08: Deputy Commissioner Reasi<\/a> Vishesh Mahajan today chaired a meeting to evaluate the status of the health services<\/a> in the district.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Central to the discussions were strategies for the fortification of Primary Health Centers and Community Health Centers.<\/p>\n

The DC Reasi took a detailed review of achievements under health sector schemes, functioning of health institutions, infrastructure up-gradation and the healthcare facilities being extended to the patients. He also reviewed progress under Ayushman<\/a> Bharat, PMJAY SEHAT, and Vacancy position of all categories, Routine Immunization Programme, NCD Programme and National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP).<\/p>\n

Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon the officers to work with utmost dedication and honesty adding that the people have direct concern with the health facilities being the most sensitive sector.<\/p>\n

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) was asked to provide comprehensive details about all Primary Health Centers (PHC) and Community Health Centers (CHC) operating in the district. He was further directed to conduct a thorough health survey of every household in the district. This survey will assess different medical issues and provide valuable insights into the healthcare needs of residents.<\/p>\n

In a significant move aimed at promoting health and hygiene in educational institutions, the Deputy Commissioner issued a directive to ensure the installation of sanitary pad dispensing machines in all schools and colleges across the district.<\/p>\n

The DC also said that to provide better and quality health services to the people of the district and directed to constitute a team of doctors to visit Mahore and far flung areas on every Thursday and Saturday so that patients may not suffer anymore.<\/p>\n

He further advised CMO, MS and BMOs to provide medical advice to patients in addition to performance of administrative duties to handle the shortage of Doctors.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by ADDC, CPO, CMO, MS District Hospital, DyCMO and BMOs.<\/p>\n
