REASI: Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi Mukund Tibrewal, IPS conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of forces deployed in Sub-Division Arnas.<\/p>\n

As part of the visit, Mukund Tibrewal inspected key police establishments, including Police Post Thanole, Police Component Narkote, Minority Pickets at Ladha and Chakalhawala, and the under-construction Police Station Panassa, to assess the prevailing security arrangements, operational readiness, and infrastructure requirements. He was accompanied by SDPO Arnas Updesh Kumar and Dy.SP SOG Arnas Hirdeyjeet Singh, JKPS.<\/p>\n

At Police Component Narkote, Mukund Tibrewal carried out a detailed review of deployment patterns and operational strategies. He directed personnel to maintain a structured roster for long-range patrols to ensure enhanced vigilance in the region. Stressing the importance of technology-driven policing, he emphasized the need to optimize patrolling mechanisms while strengthening coordination with local communities and Village Defence Guards (VDGs), particularly in remote and mountainous areas. He also inspected the camp infrastructure, security arrangements, and ancillary equipment available with the deployed forces.<\/p>\n

At Minority Pickets Ladha and Chakalhawala, Mukund Tibrewal reviewed the area domination exercises being undertaken by the deployed personnel and assessed the efforts made to mentor, support, and coordinate with VDGs in the surrounding villages to strengthen the local security grid.<\/p>\n

During the inspection of Police Post Thanole, Mukund Tibrewal conducted a thorough review of critical sections, including the Malkhana, record room, and other operational units. He directed officers and staff to revisit and analyse past militancy-related incidents in the area and maintain strict surveillance over anti-national elements and OGWs to prevent any attempt to disturb peace and stability.<\/p>\n

The visit underscores the commitment of Reasi Police in ensuring robust security preparedness across the district. Reasi Police stated that it remains focused on safeguarding the lives and property of residents and ensuring a safe and secure environment for pilgrims and tourists visiting the district.<\/p>\n
