{"id":30708,"date":"2025-07-11T09:51:01","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T09:51:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=30708"},"modified":"2025-07-11T09:51:01","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T09:51:01","slug":"national-conference-leaders-pay-tributes-to-akbar-jehan-on-25th-death-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/national-conference-leaders-pay-tributes-to-akbar-jehan-on-25th-death-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"National Conference Leaders Pay Tributes To Akbar Jehan On 25th Death Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Jul 11: National Conference (NC) on Friday offered tributes to party founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah\u2019s wife, Akbar Jehan, on her 25th death anniversary.<br \/>\nThe party leadership, including NC president Farooq Abdullah, paid floral tributes to Akbar Jehan at her mausoleum in the Hazratbal area of the city.<br \/>\nSeveral party leaders, functionaries, and workers had gathered at the mausoleum to pay tributes to Akbar Jehan.<br \/>\nThe party leaders offered \u2018fateha\u2019 \u2014 special prayers for the departed soul \u2014 and hailed her contribution to J-K. She was a two-time MP.<br \/>\nShe served as the MP from Srinagar from 1977-79, and from Anantnag from 1984-89.
