Qazigund, Mar 20: At least nine tourists were injured after the vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Thursday.
\nAn official said that the accident took place near Qazigund in South Kashmir\u2019s Kulgam district. Jammu and Kashmir travel guide.He said a tempo traveler (number PB01B-7720) on its way from Jammu to Srinagar hit a divider near the Power Grid Station Nipora leading to injuries to the passengers.
\n\u201cThe injured were rushed to GMC Anantnag for treatment, \u201d the official said, adding that all the wounded passengers are stable.
\nThe Injured were identified as Vikram Kumar, son of Deva Ram, resident of Rajasthan, age 39 years; Avala Krishna Chaitanya, son of Avala Bala Nagendra Krishna Murthy, resident of Andhra Pradesh, age 28 years; Aftab, son of Mohd Vaseen Saray, resident of Uttar Pradesh, age 46 years; Shanbo, son of Vakano, resident of Mumbai, age 38 years; Khota, son of Maiy Ram, resident of Rajasthan, age 38 years; Ramlal, son of Shamlal, resident of Mumbai, age 40 years; Vabak Kumar, son of Vinod Kumar, resident of Mumbai, age 39 years; Anil Kumar, son of Ray Kumar, resident of Kalwa, Mumbai, age 34 years and Rahul, son of Rashpal, resident of Rajasthan.<\/p>\n
