{"id":25235,"date":"2024-11-14T06:44:03","date_gmt":"2024-11-14T06:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=25235"},"modified":"2024-11-14T06:44:03","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T06:44:03","slug":"nia-attaches-immovable-property-of-accused-involved-in-killing-of-2-non-locals-in-kashmir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/nia-attaches-immovable-property-of-accused-involved-in-killing-of-2-non-locals-in-kashmir\/","title":{"rendered":"NIA Attaches Immovable Property Of Accused Involved In Killing Of 2 Non-Locals In Kashmir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI, Nov 14: The <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/nia-searches-underway-in-two-districts-of-jk\/\">National Investigation Agency<\/a> has attached immovable property of a key terror accused involved in the killing of two non-locals in Kashmir this year, according to an official statement issued on Thursday.<br \/>\nThe accused, Adil Manzoor Langoo, is linked with \u2018The Resistance Front (TRF)\u2019, an offshoot of Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), it said.<br \/>\nThe attachment is part of a probe in the case relating to a conspiracy hatched by Langoo, along with two others, identified as Ahran Rasool Dar and Dawood.<br \/>\n\u201cLed by their TRF\/LeT handler based in Pakistan, the conspiracy was aimed at killing innocent people in India with the objective of spreading terror and inciting violence,\u201d said the statement.<br \/>\nInvestigations led to the arrest of Langoo, Dar and Dawood following the killing of the two non-locals on February 7, while the Pakistan-based mastermind Jahangir is still at large, it said.<br \/>\nThe weapon used in the commission of the crime was recovered, along with ammunition, \u201cfrom the 10 marlas property\u201d which had been transferred to Langoo\u2019s father and some others by its original owner, the statement said.<br \/>\nThe property, located in Zaldagar, Srinagar, was attached on Wednesday under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, it added.<br \/>\nLangoo, who was arrested on February 12th, was charge-sheeted along with the other accused in August and is currently lodged in the Central Jail in Srinagar, the probe agency said.<br \/>\n\u201cThe property of Adil Manzoor Langoo has been attached in a case relating to the brutal killing of two non-locals at Shala Kadal, Srinagar, in February this year,\u201d it said.<br \/>\nAs part of its efforts to dismantle the Kashmir terror network, the NIA on Wednesday attached the immovable property of a key terror accused linked with LeT\u2019s offshoot The Resistance Front (TRF), the statement said.<br \/>\nTRF, which surfaced in 2019 as a proxy outfit of the LeT, is also designated as a terrorist organisation.<br \/>\nIt has been responsible for several attacks and killings of non-local civilians in Kashmir, including those belonging to religious minorities.<br \/>\nThe outfit is also behind several attacks on Indian security forces including local policemen, the NIA said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_25236\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25236\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25236\" src=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Screenshot-2024-11-14-at-12.12.50-PM-300x168.png\" alt=\"NIA Attaches Immovable Property Of Accused Involved In Killing Of 2 Non-Locals In Kashmir\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Screenshot-2024-11-14-at-12.12.50-PM-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Screenshot-2024-11-14-at-12.12.50-PM-1024x572.png 1024w, https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Screenshot-2024-11-14-at-12.12.50-PM.png 1224w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25236\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NIA Attaches Immovable Property Of Accused Involved In Killing Of 2 Non-Locals In Kashmir<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI, Nov 14: The National Investigation Agency has attached immovable property of a key terror accused involved in the killing of two non-locals in Kashmir this year, according to an official statement issued on Thursday.
