The Yatra’s resurgence in popularity and astounding increase in revenue highlight the ongoing spiritual value it continues to possess for innumerable believers, attracting them in greater numbers.
\nThe Temple’s Kapat\/Door opening ceremony took place in April 2023 during the auspicious Baishakhi holiday. The Pratham Pooja was performed when the venerated Shree Machail Mata’s Murti was ceremoniously moved from the home of the local priest to the temple.Senior executives from the Kishtwar District Administration and notable representatives from the Jammu administration graced the event.
\nAs a result, visitors started pouring into the temple for darshans. The Yatra officially began on July 25, 2023, and from the very beginning, there was a significant stream of devotees. This fortunate beginning set the tone for what would develop into a significant trip.
\nThis year’s Machail Mata Yatra saw unparalleled success, which can be primarily due to Maa Chandi’s blessing, Her Holiness, and the administration’s all-out efforts. The Yatra has reached new heights because to a winning combination of precise organisation and spiritual commitment.One of the noteworthy achievements was the provision of lodging at Gulabgarh’s Yatri Bhawan, which could accommodate 2000 pilgrims at once.
