Srinagar, Sep 09: National Conference (NC) vice president and former chief minister J&K, Omar Abdullah<\/a> on Monday said that the BJP\u2019s opposition to their election manifesto shows that National Conference is headed towards right direction.
\nHe urged people to go through the manifesto of the party, and claimed they would like it as compared to the manifestos made public by other political parties.Talking to media persons on the sidelines of an election rally in Banihal, the NC vice president said had BJP praised their manifesto, it would have pushed him into fear, but their opposition makes them aware that they are headed in the right direction.\u201cHad BJP praised our manifesto, it would have pushed me into fear. Their (BJP) opposition and criticism make us aware we are going towards right direction. So I don\u2019t think there is a need to talk over their utterances,\u201d Omar Abdullah said.
\nOmar earlier in the morning reached Banihal to campaign in support of his party candidate from the constituency, Sajjad Shaheen.
\n\u201cI have spoken what our party has mentioned in its manifesto. Let you visit our manifesto. I am hopeful if people will go through into our manifesto, they would like it, as compared to manifestos of other political parties,\u201d Omar continued.<\/p>\n
