Srinagar: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh<\/a>, who is also party incharge for J&K, today said that the National Conference is a confused party and the Abdullah family has been building castles in the air to mislead and cheat the peopleHe said that the party leader Omar Abdullah had made it clear that he won\u2019t contest in the assembly elections till the restoration of Statehood, but the party is so confused and even defused that it didn\u2019t stick to its commitments.<\/p>\n

Chugh blasted the Abdullahs for misleading the J&K peot on Article 370. \u201cFirst, the party is mentioning restoration of Article 370 in its manifesto and now has been claiming that it would take even 100 years to restore it,\u201d Chugh added.<\/p>\n

\u201cRestoring Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s statehood is BJP\u2019s top priority. PM Narendra Modi has assured the people that after the assembly elections, when the situation normalizes, statehood will be reinstated.\u201d said Chugh.<\/p>\n

He further said that the party is confident of winning majority of seats in Jammu and Kashmir and form the next government<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the first time, Jammu and Kashmir will have a chief minister from the BJP as the party is strong enough to defeat its rivals, he added<\/p>\n
