{"id":21614,"date":"2024-08-16T13:15:53","date_gmt":"2024-08-16T13:15:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/?p=21614"},"modified":"2024-08-16T13:15:53","modified_gmt":"2024-08-16T13:15:53","slug":"lt-governor-inaugurates-and-lays-foundation-stone-of-various-development-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/lt-governor-inaugurates-and-lays-foundation-stone-of-various-development-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Lt Governor Inaugurates and lays foundation stone of various development projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>BUDGAM, AUGUST 16: The <a href=\"https:\/\/jammubulletin.com\/site\/highlights-of-the-budget-2024-25-budget-of-jammu-and-kashmir-for-fy-2024-25\/\">Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha<\/a> inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various developmental projects worth more than Rs 40 crore for District Budgam today.<\/div>\n<div>He also E-inaugurated 40 works and schemes worth Rs 101.66 Crore of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Jammu Smart City Limited, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Srinagar Smart City Limited, Directorate of Urban Local Bodies and J&amp;K Lake Conservation and Management Authority, and laid stone of 6 projects worth Rs. 26.25 Crore of Directorate of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir, Jammu and Urban Local Bodies.<\/div>\n<div>Details of Budgam Projects:<\/div>\n<div>The Lt Governor Inaugurated and dedicated the accommodation for PRI members worth Rs 6.41 cr at Sheikhpora to PRIs of District today.\u00a0 The major initiative is aimed at strengthening of PRI institutions at grass root level and providing safe and secure accommodation to the PRIs.<\/div>\n<div>Panchayat Ghars at Pohru-A, Chattergam-B, Zoolwa, Panzan-B, Kechwari-C, Badipora and Dreygam inaugurated today will provide facility for the Panchayat (the local self-government body) to conduct its meetings, make decisions, and oversee the implementation of development projects at the village level.<\/div>\n<div>Community Toilet Units at Charar-i-sharief shrine will facilitate the devotees visiting the shrine. Receiving Station at Aripanthan at a cost of Rs. 6.34 cr inaugurated today will meet the long pending demand of the people of areas of Aripanthan, Gambora, Palpora, Larkipora, Warihama, Hazipora, Bamrood, Arzabjigund, Kandhama, Gund Gamboora and Gund, providing reliable power supply to the consumers.<\/div>\n<div>The Lt Governor also inaugurated the Water Supply Schemes KhasiporaChowdribagh, Area Kremshore-Dreygam, Sub Division Khansahib and Sheer Check, Sub Division Charar-i-Sharief Area Pakherpora.<\/div>\n<div>Projects for which foundation stone was laid by Lt Governor at Budgam includes: Community hall at Transit Accommodation Sheikhpora, development of Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall as Centre of Skill Development &amp; Training and Truss Girder Bridge at TakiyabalKanigund.<\/div>\n<div>The development of Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall as center of Skill Development &amp; Training will benefit youth of the District in the field of skilling and training in various sectors.<\/div>\n<div>The Construction of 3&#215;35 mtr Truss Girder Bridge at TakiyabalKanigund at the project cost of Rs.13.65 cr under RIDF XXIX will meet the long pending demand of people of Beerwah and Khag.
