Srinagar, Jun 2: On Friday LG Sinha<\/a> said that the govt is all set to make 129 health and wellness centers operational by March 24 in J&K.Sinha stated that 129 health and wellness centres will be open by March of next year while speaking at a Kashmir University inauguration event.
\nAdditionally, he stated that as of the current fiscal year, 17 additional Ayush dispensaries will be open under the centrally sponsored programme.We are opening 50-bed integrated Ayush hospitals in each of the five districts of Kulgam, Kathua<\/a>, Kupwara, Kishtwar<\/a>, and Samba<\/a> in Jammu and Kashmir. At least 50% of Jammu and Kashmir’s population has received support medications and an Ayush immunity booster since the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, he said.
\nRegarding the recent Y20 event meetings at the University of Kashmir, Sinha remarked, “The University of Kashmir finally had the opportunity to host an international event, or perhaps I should say for the first time, in which the people of Kashmir participated enthusiastically.According to the LG, the Y20 was a great success and became well-known not only in India but also in other countries. It was a working group meeting for tourism, he explained, and the big event will be in Goa.
\nHe also expressed his gratitude to the KU Vice Chancellor, teachers, and students for laying the groundwork for the success of this important occasion. “Yesterday was World Milk Day in India. You’ll be glad to know that the Indian government has chosen to start it in Srinagar,” added Sinha.Ministers from 16 states were in Kashmir,\u00a0LG said . I think the public has more faith and trust in the administration every time we have such important events here, he remarked.Speaking of the Ayusman Bharat Digital Mission, Sinha stated that Jammu and Kashmir has long been the epicentre of the Ayurvedic medical system. In fact, the region even had Ayurvedic and Unani hospitals in ancient times.He said that the Health and Medical Education Department worked hard to establish the Government Ayurvedic Medical College in Akhnoor and Hospital, which can accommodate 35 students, in order to strengthen ayurvedic medicine.
\nIn Ganderbal, a Government Unani Medical College and Hospital was also established, and in addition to providing care for patients, it also graduates 60 doctors each year, according to Sinha. The LG added that Jammu and Kashmir’s tourist industry has accomplished numerous significant milestones. “Nearly 1.8 million tourists visited Kashmir last year. As I’ve already mentioned, Jammu and Kashmir is becoming more well-known in the world of tourism during the G20 presidency.<\/p>\n
